Prayer Line

Ministry Description
The prayer line ministry supports the spiritual needs of others through a networking of members in intercessory prayer.  The prayer line is made up of two groups of people available for either email contact or a phone call in the early evening.  A member can pray in any way they prefer (formatted or spontaneous prayer).  The time required to be part of the prayer line takes only minutes to receive a prayer request by email or telephone, then to pass it onto the next telephone contact, followed by a prayer.

Qualities/Skills
A member of the prayer line is responsible to:

• Write down the prayer request as stated over the phone or received by email.
• If contacted by phone, two write the request down exactly as stated and call the next person on the list.
• Pray for the intention of the request.
• All requests are to be kept confidential
